Know more about Nicolas Namias, CEO of BPCE, a special leader with a professional journey!

Nicolas Namias took on the role of CEO at BPCE on December 3rd, 2022. He embarked on his professional journey in 2004 at the Treasury department of France’s Ministry for the Economy and Finance. Initially, he was responsible for organizing international financial summits before being appointed as the government’s substitute commissioner to the French financial market regulator AMF. In 2008, Namias joined Groupe BPCE, where he assumed the position of Group’s Head of Steering for Commercial Banking and Insurance. In 2012, he was chosen as an Advisor to the Prime Minister for financing the economy, corporates and international economic affairs. In 2014, Nicolas Namias rejoined Groupe BPCE as Head of Strategy and later became Chief Financial Officer of Natixis and a member of the Senior Management Committee. His role expanded in 2018 when he became a member of the Groupe BPCE Management Board, initially as Chief Financial & Strategy Officer and later in August 2020 as Chief Executive Officer of Natixis. Nicolas Namias is an alumnus of France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration and holds degrees from Stanford Graduate School of Business (executive program), ESSEC Business School, and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
